Robert Greene

Robert W. Greene Jr.

I've lived in the area since graduating from Binghamton University. I am running to address community concerns and help others in the Vestal community. Being a volunteer firefighter for a Vestal fire station is just one way I have committed to serving the Vestal community.  Now I look forward to serving further as a Town Councilman.

I feel I am qualified from my experience as a Sergeant (manager) in the US Army and my engineering experience to work with people with diverse backgrounds to accomplish work to schedule and budget. My background in engineering provides an understanding of Return On Investment (ROI) from projects, whether that is community welfare to cheaper taxes through proper usage of budgeting to reduce cost over time. My engineering background has also required working with marketing and customers to meet/exceed their needs while also meeting budget and schedules. My background in volunteer firefighting brings the importance of supporting one’s community in its dire needs (house fire, flood, etc.). As such, I believe my diverse skillset from the US Army, engineering, and volunteer firefighting makes me uniquely qualified to help meet the needs of the Vestal community as a councilman.
