Glenn R. Miller

Glenn Miller

I was born and raised in Vestal, attending schooling up to and including a four-year

Bachelor of Technology degree (B.U.).  After working in the area I decided to expand my horizons and move to Arizona.  The desert is magical!  sadly, I missed the water and change of seasons greatly.  I moved to Prescott, AZ to relive that environment, yet it just didn't fulfill my vision.  Then my father passed and I got the opportunity to move back to Vestal to help with care of my aging mother.  I now live in the same house I grew up in and am loving being back to Vestal!  Hiking the woods and enjoying the change of seasons is even more magical!  As you can see from the picture, I absolutely love the water.

Now, as a property owner in Vestal, I wish to become active in local government for the betterment of the town and its citizens.  During my time in Arizona, I watched the successes and failures of local government, learning much along the way.  In Prescott I was involved with the campaign of a friend running for Prescott City Council (who got elected!) and was employed by Yavapai County in the Adult Probation Department where I learned how county government functions.  I know the value of listening to the concerns and ideas of the residents.  I am looking forward to bringing my experience, skills, knowledge, and professionalism to the Vestal Town Board for the betterment of the town and all its residents.

Now that I have retired I can devote all the time necessary to my duties as Town Councilman.  I look forward to balancing this work with my retirement activities of movie watching, boating, home improvement, learning a new language, model rocketry, karaoke, and spending time each week having a video call with my wonderful mother!
